beings, I guess you could say, in this series. There are quite a few types of paranormal. You know what's funny? That's not even my first of the day." "Ohh, how clever," Aden said and clapped. As a matter a fact, my favorite romance and storyline became Riley and Mary Ann! Some of their interactions were just hilarious. (JK, I love Gena Showalter's books!)Īden is an interesting character-and so are the souls that live inside his head-but I loved how Gena Showalter wrote the book to eclipse the other major characters too. I seriously loathed Gena Showalter for a second afterward. It was both horrifying, astonishing, and tear-jerking. The series had an ending that I would've never in my wildest, Alice In Wonderland-like dreams, have guessed. If all we've got to look forward to is disloyalty and treachery, why do we even make friends? And that last book that knocked me for a loop! I've never thrown a book before (that's book-nerd blasphemy!) but I had the uncanny urge to hurl my borrowed hardcover of Twisted out the window. I was intrigued with the storyline, came to know and love the characters, and wanted more, more, more. There are three books-Intertwined, Unraveled, and Twisted. I have a love/hate relationship with the Intertwined Series by Gena Showalter.
